Bike Donations for Needy Children
On behalf of the Miami Fury, Women’s tackle football team and the Udonis Haslem Children’s Foundation this is a request for new bicycles for disadvantaged children during this upcoming Holiday season. The Miami Fury has worked closely with the Udonis Haslem Children’s Foundation for several years, donating their time, services, funds and needed goods.
We are asking for your help in continuing this tradition of giving to needy children by donating new bicycles. Your donation will be greatly appreciated and will not go without notice. All donors will be acknowledged on the Miami Fury’s official website and will also receive two complimentary tickets to the Miami Fury’s season opener.
All donated bicycles can be brought to the Miami Fury’s next tryout date on Saturday December 8th between the hours of 11am and 2pm at Miramar Athletic Park (SWBJAA) (SW 62nd Ave & SW 33rd ST). Food Drive hosted by Miami Fury
November 10
The Fury will be hosting a food drive on November 10 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Miramar Athletic Park in conjunction with tryouts. For those wishing to tryout can bring 5 or more non-perishable items and receive $10 off the registration fee.
The Fury is partnering with the Daily Bread Food Bank (www.dailybread.org) to help those in need of food in the South Florida area. Daily Bread Food Bank was founded in 1981 as a not-for-profit organization in response to hunger in our community. Daily Bread operated on a very simple principle: reducing hunger by reducing waste. Twenty-percent (20%) of all food produced in the United States goes to waste.
Here's a sample list of items:
canned meats (tuna, salmon, chicken, turkey, ham)
canned soup & stews
canned beans, fruits, vegetables
plastic container of peanut butter and jelly
Come show your support and drop off needed items for your community.

Halloween Haunted Trails
(City of North Miami)

The Fury will be in attendance and volunteering at the Halloween Haunted Trails on October 27 at Enchanted Forest Park located at 1725 NE 135 Street, North Miami. There will be haunted trails, hayrides, SAK foundation dancers, costume contest, and more. Refreshments and food available for purchase. Blood Drive by the community blood centers. Parking available at Johnson & Wales University. Pre-sale tickets and family pack - quick entry $15 (includes 2 adults and up to 3 children) at the Parks & Recreation office located at NE 125 Street. Player Appearance at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park in Miami
on July 3rd
The Fury will be at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Park (6000 NW 32 Court, Miami) on July 3rd for a football clinic held by the park. The clinic is for boys and girls age 8-14. The clinic will begin at 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. For more inforation about the event please contact Marvin Burroughs at 305-633-2044.

The Miami Fury will be honoring a local community organization for its impact in the community in such a short period of time. In addition, there will be a special dedication and presentation.
