The Miami Fury clinched home field advantage after the win at home against the Tampa Bay Inferno. The 1st round of playoffs were suppose to be played this Saturday, June 15 but due to unforeseen circumstances the Savannah Sabers are not able to field a team. The Miami Fury take the win for the 1st round of playoffs.

The Miami Fury will find out this weekend where it will be at for the 2nd round of playoffs. If the Atlanta Phoenix win this Saturday then the Miami Fury will be traveling to Atlanta on June 22. If the Tampa Bay Inferno beat Atlanta Phoenix then the Miami Fury will be home for the 2nd round. Keep following us on our road to the Championship.

Fury Extinguishes Inferno’s Fire

North Miami, FL- The Fury opened the game against the Tampa Bay Inferno on June 8 seeking to make history in the Women’s Football Alliance as they sought to become the first team to go 0-8 in one year and 8-0 the next. The Fury would take the opening kickoff and establish its dominance in the game as they capped off the drive with a 29 yard touchdown pass from Keondra Greer to Stacy Dwyer. Ronkia Toombs would convert on the two point conversion making it an 8-0 game. The Fury’s defense, which is currently ranked as the #4 defense in the league would stifle the Inferno. The Miami Fury will be back at home this Saturday, June 8 to play its last regular season game. This game will begin at 7 p.m. vs Tampa Bay Inferno at North Miami Athletic Park (2555 NE 151st, North Miami). Both teams at this point are 7-0 for the season. This game will be a big game in that it will determine the home field advantage for the beginning of the WFA Playoffs and determine who will take first place in the National Conference Division 6.

The Miami Fury is on the road this weekend to take on the Orlando Anarchy. This will be game 7 of the regular season with one game remaining next weekend at home vs Tampa Bay Inferno. As the Fury prepare for the game today the focus is being dedicated. Although the Fury is having a successful season the team must continue its dedication to play one game at a time and put in the work to continue success.This is a very exciting season for the entire organization. Shades of 1972 Fury Remain Undefeated

    The last time Miami had an undefeated team was in 1972 when the Miami Dolphins won a Super Bowl. The Miami Fury is on track to become the 2nd undefeated team in Miami as they remain undefeated after a victory over the Tampa Bay Inferno 22-6. The Miami Fury is idle this weekend and return to action on Saturday, June 1 when they face the Orlando Anarchy, a team that they have beaten in the previous two meetings. On Saturday, June 8 the Fury will host the Tampa Bay Inferno in the regular season finale.

On June 8 the Fury will honor its fans through Fan Appreciation Night.  The Fury has seen the development of many rookies and the continued success of many veteran players as they continue to chase a championship on their quest to remain undefeated.

The Miami Fury came out victorious against Jacksonville Dixie Blues this past Saturday, May 11. This is the second time the Fury beat the Dixie Blues in its team history. This victory has helped the Fury on its road to a successful and exciting season. The Fury played hard throughout the entire game after being down 0-5. The Fury finally scored a touchdown and got a big interception which put the Fury up 14-5. This ended up being the final score of the game and now the Fury is 5-0 for the season.

Next week the Fury will be taking on the Tampa Bay Inferno on Saturday, May 18 in Tampa.

One Game At A Time

The Fury has been focused on getting as much practice in each week to be prepared for its opponents. As each week passes the Fury practice for the game coming up and not looking ahead. The goal is to stay on course and take one game at a time. This will continue throughout the season.

As the Fury prepare for its upcoming game this Saturday, May 11 at 2 p.m., the Fury will continue its hard work and dedication.
